The Blueprint 3...

Iz gonna be wack as hell...So far the tracks that have leaked are all horrendous other then 1 song called Venus vs. Mars

1. Doa-Could've been better I feel Nas could've done a better job on that beat then Jay did. He left a lot of empty space in that song that he could've easily rapped over instead he used that new annoying ass ad-lib, "Ahh!" In which I think is the 2nd dumbest ad-lib next to OJ the Juice Man's "Aye, okay" bullshit

2. Run this town-Was a let down. I saw the featured artist and expected a bit more but Jay-Z lyrics were lack luster and Kanye's verse was better then both of Jay's and Kanye's wasn't even that great. Not to mention Rihanna became very annoying on that shit

3. Off That-Sounds like some bullshit leftover track fer Keri Hilson's album. It definitely doesn't fit Jay's style and I was looking forward to hearing what Drake was going to spit but all he had was a very generic chorus in which let me down big time. The 2nd verse is just full of that wack ass ad-lib as well...every like 2 bars he's saying that shit.

4. Reminder-Probably the worst thing I've ever heard in my life from Jay-Z. That beat is quite annoying, boring and repetitive. Not to mention Jay-Z didn't really make up the wack ass beat with hard ass lyrics so it's dreadfully awful. The Chorus SUCKS. That chick can't sing and this nigga Jay is constantly saying Ah in the background wth?

5. Venus vs. Mars-Is the only thing (so far) that would have me buy this album. Shit is cold as hell. It's sort of like the 09' version of Girls, Girls, Girls which was like my fav. song on The Blueprint. Timbaland made a crazy ass beat and Jay just made this song full of punchlines. It's also almost like he's going back and fourth talking about what his girl likes and what he likes and ends up changing it up the 3rd verse of how fake the girl he had been talking about was. Song is really great and not once will you hear that stupid ass ad-lib. This sounds like it could've been on the Black Album. Kinda has the Dirt of ya shoulders feel to it.

Jay...this was the biggest let down and surely shouldn't be called the Blueprint 3 but perhaps the Blueprint 2.5 cuz it's just as wack as BP2

Peace, Love and Hairgrease ya'll!

PS check out the new beat fer MrDjeno's short film on the virtuosouls website call It's Alright

I'M BACK!!!

Okay I've been slacking on this blogging shit so I'm back now and I've been hella busy.
  • 1. The Group is coming along quite nice. In case you guys forgot I'ma producer and my group consists of 6 members
Myself (Buddy)-Producer, rapper, One of the Engineers
MailMaxx-Rapper, Main Engineer
RestrictEd-Rapper
Merlie McFlyy-Rapper
MrDjeno-Poet, videographer

and so far we're making a mixtape just fer the anticipation of the actual album the mixtape will have 12-13 songs and the album will have about 17-18. We're almost done with the mixtape so be expecting that in the next few weeks

There's really no way of describing the mixtape other then it's the hardest, most original, soulful yet hard ass mixtape you've ever heard and still not as cold as the album. We the VSOS will save hip-hop of it's state it's in now.

here's a sneak peak of the something on the mixtape

  • 2. Been listening to a lotta shit and here's some old and new stuff you ma not have heard that you should check out

1. MeLo-X's EP entitled "Maxwell BLACKsummers'night Instrumental Remix EP"
Basically my mans took Maxwell's new album and flipped his songs into these sick instrumentals
I'd give it a 5/5 Hottest song on there is a track called "The Highest" (Download this album from http://www.okayplayer.com/news/Maxwells-BLACKsummersnight-Instrumental-Remix-EP-Produced-by-MeLo-X.html)

2. The Root's-Rising Down I hated that album the 1st week it came out and didn't give it a chance. I listened to it again and actually soaked in what they were saying and checked out the different beats they had and that shit is cold as hell. I'd give it a 4/5 just cuz it took a while to get used to it but the hottest song on there is "The Show" Featuring Common

3. Elzhi-The Preface I'm a Detroit artist so of course I'd support my Detroit companions this shit is pretty cool. The 1st song he goes str8 in and goes hard. I hadn't heard of this until about a week ago however but I'd give it a 3/5 I don't really know what my fav. song is on there...

4.Johnson & Jonson-Self titled album This group consists of Cali artist's Blu and MainFrame. If you've never heard of either one of them yer stupid. This shit's a 4/5 mos def. My fav. song is between Bout it Bout it and Anything is Possible

5. Slaughterhouse-Self Titled Album Aiight this album is okay...not too good, not horrible. Something to check out but will get boring within yer 3rd listen. If you've never heard of Slaughterhouse yer stupid but the group consist's of Royce da 5'9, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden and Crooked I. I'm not that much of a fan of all of them especially Crooked I he's weak to me but Joell is cold as hell. If yer to listen to that album check out the song Onslaught 2 and listen to Joell Ortiz's verse (which is the 3rd verse) nigga goes hard and n e 1 who went to the Rock the Bells concert in Michigan they also did an acapella version of this song like it was a freestyle. 2/5 just cuz it's not weak just boring.

  • 3. Some videos on YouTube I think you guys might wanna check out.

RIP J-dilla. Here's a tribute to Detroit producer/rapper J-Dilla

Here's one of my old classmates from high school playing his sax. Pretty cool!

Swiff D at the Red Bull Big Tune challenge (I'm pissed I didn't get chosen fer the Detroit battle cuz I def. could've beat the nigga who won) this is from last 08 but ain't no way in hell Babu should've beat swiff cuz Babu's 1st beat wuz weak and annoying.

Welp, I'm outta here stay in tuned with Yer hip-hop Buddy cuz I will be on here a lot more then I have been!
